The Humanities Lab (H-Lab Futures LLP)
The Humanities Lab (H-Lab Futures LLP) is a Kerala-based, women-led ed-tech and research initiative registered under the Kerala Startup Mission. We are India’s first initiative to integrate artificial intelligence with the humanities and social sciences. We work with students, educators, and early-career researchers from non-technical backgrounds to reimagine critical thinking, ethical tech engagement, and future-ready skills for academic and professional pathways in a rapidly evolving world.

Our Vision
humAIn enhances the employability of humanities and social sciences scholars by providing AI expertise, fostering slow, critical thinking, and advancing ethical AI practices. We focus on empowering women through dedicated AI training programs, establishing Humanities AI Labs in liberal arts colleges, and offering both short-term and long-term AI courses tailored for HSS disciplines, preparing scholars for meaningful, future-ready careers in a rapidly transforming world.

What We Do
The Humanities Lab empowers students, educators, and researchers from non-technical backgrounds to engage with artificial intelligence, critical theory, and ethical innovation. We design hands-on learning experiences, mentorship programs, and research support to bridge the gap between technology and the humanities. From AI labs and internships to mental health resources and community-building for women in tech, our initiatives help build future-ready skills while honoring diverse perspectives and disciplines.
